We are also equipped with disabled toilets and we have wheelchair accessibility to over 90% of our farm.

We also have extra activities such as Thomas the Train rides and Merry-Go-Round rides at an additional charge of $2.00 per ride.  And bags of animal food can be purchased from the kiosk for $1.50 per bag (please note this animal food may contain traces of nuts).

School Events

Oakvale Farm & Fauna World would like to invite you to come and take part in a hands-on educational experience with our native fauna and farm animals.

Oakvale Farm & Fauna World is designed so your students can get hands on experience with a variety of native and farm animals.  We have feeding shows at 11:00am and 2:00pm daily.  This takes place in an undercover stadium, which can accommodate up to 400 people at any one time.  Students and teachers alike can have an opportunity to milk a cow, bottle feed baby goats & lambs and cuddle many interesting nursery animals.

This activity is followed by free entry into Koala Village to pat our friendly koalas while they feed and rest on their perches.  This tour also includes a koala talk by one of our trained animal attendants.  Students are then encouraged to take a tractor and trailer ride around the farm while one of our experienced staff gives a commentary of the various species within the park. In the event of a large school group we will often break into smaller groups and rotate between these activities

Duck and waterfowl feeding is on our wharf out over the dam in the centre of the farm at 1:00pm every day and students are invited to participate.  Children can also view our pelicans being fed at the same time.

Children can order lunch from our kiosk menu attached or free BBQ facilities are offered for sausage sizzles. We also welcome children to bring their own packed lunches. Please note all food must be ordered 3 (three) days prior to your excursion.
